I'm a classic dental anxiety person. I had a 3 year gap since the last time I went to the dentist so i decided it was time to commit to getting my teeth worked on. My wife has been going to Airdrie Dental Studio for a year or so now and raved about it. My first experience was so easy and relaxing. I never felt judged the Dental hygienist gave me some great tips the dentist Dr. SHAHEED (hope im spelling that right) was professional and respectful and the front desk staff were so warm welcoming and friendly. I recently started my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Vicki McDermid and I couldn't be happier with the early results. From start to finish Dr. Vicki and the entire team were incredibly professional attentive and supportive. I consulted with multiple orthodontists before moving forward with Invisalign at her office. They made the process seamless and comfortable always ensuring I was informed and at ease. The early results are fantastic and the ladies at the front desk have been extremely helpful and friendly in accommodating my ever changing schedule! I highly recommend Dr. Vicki for anyone considering orthodontic treatment in and around Airdrie!

Been going to Airdrie Dental Clinic for over 25 years. Drive 5 1/2 hours one way for my appointments. The knowledge professionalism sincerity of everyone at this clinic makes you feel welcome at home and if you have any type of fear help you through it always making sure you are comfortable and depending on what you are getting done that you are okay. Because I have no dental coverage the price gets me everyone I would recommend Dr Neil and Dr Vicky 100% along with their staff. Great experience at this dental office! Reception is always very pleasant and cheerful; I was asked to take a seat in the waiting are. Within very few minutes Wendy the dental hygienist took me back to the room. I was settled comfortably in the chair and Wendy did a quick history check. She proceeded with the cleaning and polishing ensuring that I was comfortable. She booked my next appointment and told me what to expect next time. She gave me some hygiene aids and took me back to reception. I was finished within 40 minutes total. I really appreciate the expertise and skill at this clinic! .

Airdrie Dental has been taking care of our family since day 1! Our little guy feels completely comfortable there with such a great team of hygienists and of course awesome dentists. I’ve had cosmetic work done by Dr. Vicki (over 15 years ago and still in great shape!) and everyone assumes my veneers are my natural teeth. I had the misfortune of needing a root canal and Dr. Neil was fantastic (as painless as possible with no complications at all!).

This dental office has treated me very well over the years. The office staff is very welcoming and always coordinate the appointments according to your schedule. Most importantly they do not rush through the appointment but rather consider your likes and dislikes.(eg needles) and is straight forward with findings. Dr Neil McDermid

General Dentist

Dr. Neil McDermid was born in Richmond, BC, and lived in several communities before graduating high school in Calgary. He received his dental degree in 1996 from the University of Alberta and began practicing in Airdrie immediately after graduation. He joined his wife Vicki at Airdrie Dental Studio when they started their family. In his time away from dentistry, he enjoys time with his wife and four children.
Dr Victoria McDermid

General Dentist

Dr. Vicki McDermid was born and raised in Mayerthorpe, AB. She received her dental hygiene diploma and her dental degree from the University of Alberta. After graduation from dental school in 1998, she began her dental career in Calgary, and eventually started practicing at Airdrie Dental Studio. Her interests away from the office center around her husband and four children and their busy lifestyle.
Dr Navi Sidhu

General Dentist

Dr Navi Sidhu earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Manitoba in 2023 and began her career practicing in Selkirk, Manitoba. Recently relocating to Alberta, she is excited to continue serving patients with the same dedication and compassionate care she is known for.

Fluent in both English and Punjabi, Dr. Sidhu values open communication and strives to ensure every patient feels comfortable and well cared for. She is passionate about dentistry and takes pride in helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sidhu enjoys hiking, travelling, reading and cooking. She values a balanced lifestyle and brings the same enthusiasm and care to her personal interests as she does to her professional practice.
